Neighborhood - Traditional Spanish Finca/Countryhouse with wine-cellar and fertile property nearby Alicante

You can find extraordinarily beautiful hiking areas leading through pine-tree forest, up and around mountains (such as Maigmo) or towards an impressive barrier lake in the valley of Tibi.

Especially throughout spring time, the gorgeous almond blossom invites to enjoy. Throughout summer season, the high valley impresses with its dry and fresh mountain breeze compared against the high humid temperatures along the coast. Sports, especially mountain-biking or racing-biking can easily be performed on the country roads, as the highway nearby carries most of the traffic. Popular day trips by car lead to Altea or Valencia. 

Being entertained is not difficult around the Finca/Countryhouse. Every season has its fiestas that invite to join the warm, cheerful and fun-loving Spanish people celebrating.

The village Tibi is located about a 5 minutes’ drive direction south from the Finca. Although it's a small village, it's having a lot to offer because of its traditions. Every June, the fiesta in favor or holy St. Magdalena is celebrated. It lasts for one week and is accompanied with a lot of party and fun. It's rounded up with Spanish folklore, bullbaiting and wonderful fireworks at the end. Many visitors are attracted by this specific fiesta and join the celebration. 

The people living in Tibi also gather on the streets for celebrations around Easter and the Three Wise Men. Elderly people are also enjoying their time in Tibi. The very active network of people offers a lot of social, sportive or handcrafts events. 

The infrastructure within the small village is extraordinarily well. There are many offerings for shopping to be found: bakery, butchery, hair dresser, store for electrical devices and hardware, doctor, pharmacy, restaurants, tapa bars and a farmer's market (every Tuesday). Furthermore Tibi offers a beautiful open air bath with a wonderful view over the Sierra del Maigmo. 

The city Ibi is located about a 10 minutes’ drive direction north from the Finca. Ibi is a modern city with approx. 30,000 residents and 1,000 shops, discounters as well as garages. Ibi offers a great farmer's market for nearly all local and original specialties. Once shopping bags are filled, the tapas bars nearby invite for snacks and drinks. Very Spanish. Any addiction to flea markets? In Ibi you will find them! In case variety of shopping is what you are looking for: the nicely located city Castalla (next to Ibi) offers even more shopping occasions. 

Alicante can be reached in just 20 minutes by car on the highway direction south. The lively lager town offers a huge variety for amusement: culture, shopping occasions, beautiful sandy beaches, bars and discotheques at the beach and much more.
